Rolling Home

The story of an epic train journey I undertook with my young family from the Atlantic to the Pacific, with a mid-way jaunt north to Hudson Bay with my 70 year-old dad. It’s about the people on the train, both railroaders and passengers, the deep traditions and history of rail travel in Canada, and, its less certain future.
Rolling Home won the Edna Staebler Award for Creative Non-Fiction in 2002.
